27' segmented VS1 glass curtain wall
VS1 was selected to bring to life this innovative curtain wall at Lansing Community College in Michigan. The saw-tooth wall spans 27 feet and is composed of four stacked six-foot glass panels.
VS1 is well suited for segmented walls because the system has no horizontal transom, which also increases transparency of the final installed glass curtain wall. The system's one-way framing approach significantly simplifies the implementation of these types of walls, resulting in excellent value for the owner.
The Innovation Glass team has also executed a sawtooth wall at the Levi Hall Quad Portal at University of Chicago, and segmented glass wall scopes on the Hiscox Building in York, England, the new CD Peacock flagship location, and Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Chicago.
