Geometrically complex pool enclosure facade

The Uva Nestum Wine & Spa in Gotse Delchev, Bulgaria features a VS1 glass pool enclosure. The installation is complex in its geometry, featuring sloping glass roofs and walls and seamless all-glass transitions from wall to canopy.

The 10” VS1 aluminum bullet mullion was used, and hung rather than base-loaded. The side wall mullions are tilted in-plane, a standard VS1 detail used on many projects around the world, notably the Central Bank of Ireland. The enclosure mullions stop and start where the canpoy occurs. Innovation Glass also provided our typical awning-style vents, which are slightly modified for this rooftop application.
