FROM THE ARCHITECT KPF
❝ Chapter London Bridge will occupy a commanding position on the London skyline and deliver high-quality student accommodation; flexible, affordable, start-up space; and public realm improvements.
The building integrates with the existing urban fabric. Activated on all four sides, the ground floor is open, welcoming, and flexible. Retail units and lobbies intertwine with meeting space at the ground and first floor and amenity space at Level 2, overlooking the street. At its base, the façade is set back behind a metal-clad colonnade, creating wider pavements. ❞

VS1 was selected for the entry facades of this exciting new project in central London. The 40-story building will offer student housing and communal spaces, and is targeting BREEAM Excellent Certification.
The VS1 lobby walls will be 7.1m high and the bay spacing will be very wide at 2.8m. The facade will feature several all-glass corners and revolving doors, and the largest glass panel will be 3.3m by 2.8m. The largest panel of glass will weigh one tonne.
