40' three-sided facade; 24' facade
12.75" VS1 mullion; 10" VS1 mullion

A stunning three-sided VS1 façade greets student athletes and visitors to this brand new sports complex at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. 12.75” VS1 mullions with lateral bracing rods were used to achieve this incredibly transparent 40-foot façade, and two all-glass frameless entry vestibules welcome you into the building. The mullions are customized with a recess at the back, and Innovation Glass supplied lighting brackets for LED strips that illuminate the façade’s VS1 framing. The façade utilizes the VS1 toggle fitting, creating a flush exterior and achieving a true glass box aesthetic.

VS1 was selected for a second scope, a 24-foot spanning glass wall on the practice facility. This installation was achieved with a 10” deep rectangular mullion and the standard VS1 patch fittings.
